Paul Appleby returns to the title role of Bernstein’s satirical Candide alongside Derek Welton returning to the role of Pangloss in a new staging by Daniel Fish for Opéra National de Lyon. Performances, which are conducted by Wayne Marshall, continue from 16 December to 1 January.
